Coins In The Mail Today
Guess what's in the mail today, it is the 2 US dollar coins that we bought from the Philippines and they were fake. We thought they were silver but they are not. We sent them back 7 months ago but my mother didn't bother to claim it in the post office so now it is returned to us. Oh well, it is not really a bad thing because I can always resell it to get our money back. I can always send it to the auction house and sell it as replica. Speaking of which, I am now gathering the proof sets that we are going to sell at the auction and we are hoping this is a good round but if not, at least we will get our money back. So I will be busy for the next few days to prepare all the stuff and looking forward for a good sale. Have good day guys.

The Pageant
Hopefully this is not a bad timing for her as the pageant takes place tomorrow in Las Vegas. With the different incidents in the Philippines for the past few days before the competition, hopefully Venus will still stay in shape and confident to win the crowd. Before the event, her very close friend died in a car accident and just today a hostage taking took place in the Philippines. For sure this will be tackled and will be ask on how she is still going to promote the tourism in the Philippines with this tragic event. Venus is one of the favorite and hopefully she will make it. Go Pinoy!!!!

Mountain Climbing Season
How I wish we are having our vacation in the Philippines right now. You know why? Because it is the mountain climbing season. Yes, during the holy week many mountaineers would plan for a mountain climbing trip to different mountains in the Philippines. I can still remember 4 years ago when I celebrated my 26th birthday at the peak of Mt. Matutum in General Santos City. It was very challenging and very memorable to me. It was my first time and it was very worth it and I had so much fun. Hopefully we can do that again and of course by that time hubby's gonna be with us..Yipey!

Eyewear
I have an eye wear collection back home ( Philippines) but gave them all to my mom because as to what I love and so she does as well. I started collecting them way back college days and have a bunch of them when I am already working since I can afford more to buy new styles and trendy eye wear in the market. I miss my collection and how I wish I bring them all with me when I moved here in the States. Probably I will start collecting again especially they have more selections over here and I can even buy it online. Awesome!

Best CD Rates In Town
We are planning to move back to the Philippines someday and right now what we are doing is save all the money we've got. This way it would be a lot easier and lot more faster to move there as soon as we come up with the money that we need to move. My husband and I discuss about investing our money to cd rates. Yes, this way our money will grow while in the bank. We are currently looking for the best cd rates in our area since the money is already available. We are hoping that our bank has the best rates we are looking for so that we do not need to transfer our money from one bank to the other. We are so looking forward on this investment because this is for our family.

Filipino Channel On Direct TV
I was very surprised when my father in law told me the other night that he had purchased a new program on Direct TV. At first, I was just like okay that's great. But later he reveals the surprised. He said that the new program that he purchased were Filipino Channels. Wow! I was very astounded and so speechless when he said that.
I was very happy and now getting excited because they will install it tomorrow. I think I saw few commercials with the Filipino channel on DirectTV but was not really brought it up to my husband because I just normally watch my shows online. But now with directv, I can watch my shows in a huge screen, that is awesome. They will give us a month trial period though and see if we will keep it or turn it down. For sure we will keep it because aside from just watching my show, my husband could learn our dialect too by watching some of the shows with me.
Oh! today is Sunday and they will be here tomorrow. I am excited and anxious to see their programs. My dad in law told me that there are at least 28 channels for the Filipino shows. Oh that would be so awesome and I can't wait. Told my husband about it and he said it was very interesting. I am just glad that I can still watch my shows from the Philippines eventhough I am already residing here in the States.

Vacation Galore
Headed somewhere? Yeah I exactly know the feeling of taking off for a vacation. My husband and I loved to go on vacation and I always look forward to it. Every time I packed up our things to go somewhere just the two of us is an awesome feeling. God I couldn't ask for more when I am with him. He awesome and a great partner to with and it makes our vacation more romantic and memorable..Hehehehe!!!..I know, I know love is in the air but that's just me, I am not afraid to tell the world how much I love and how much I cherish the time that we are together. It very precious and so priceless. Hopefully we can still go somewhere else for a vacation after I give birth. I know we will be busy parents as soon as the baby gets here but I will always make it a point that we will have time for each other..Hehehehe..Sweet! Speaking of which - vacation. I truly recommend going to the beach specifically beach cities. Why? Because they do not only have beautiful scenic views, good food and nice weather but also they provide Beach Cities Protective Services for their customers. Isn't that cool? You are enjoying, having fun and at the same time well protected and safe in the vicinity. Oh so love that and I am really looking forward for our next vacation, hopefully in the Philippines.

Another Typhoon in the Philippines
The Philippines have been hit another typhoon again after the first typhoon that hits the country just recently. According to PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration), Typhoon ‘Peping’ (international name PARMA) was located based on satellite 440 kms East of Catarman, Northern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 195 kph and gustiness of up to 230 kph. It is said to be a moderate to strong typhoon and classified as type 5 hurricane (same as Typhoon Katrina). Its tropical cyclone, not anymore a storm. People should expect strong winds and rainfall. It is also said to be stronger than Typhoon Milenyo.I am hoping and praying that victims of this typhoon will survive this tragedy and still able to back on track with their lives.

Dentist
Isn't it great to smile with confidence if your teeth are healthy and well maintained by your dentist? Yes it would be and a great asset to your personality. I have read and most have proven that we must see our dentist twice a year which is pretty much right so that we have a close monitoring with our teeth. I often forgot to see my dentist twice a year for so many reasons. One would be with my finances and the other one would be I am busy. I know it is a necessity in life and I have to allocate time and money for it. But it is just hard sometimes because I have to prioritize some stuff before my teeth. Back in the Philippines I just go and see me my dentist if I need a teeth extraction or teeth cleaning or teeth filling. In short I just make an appointment with her if I am suffering from a certain pain on my teeth. No wonder my teeth are not so good looking to give me enough confidence to smile. It might be funny but I smile with my mouth closed. There are a lot of things needed to be fixed with my teeth but unfortunately I don't really have the money right now. I am living in the states now and good thing they have insurance here which makes it more affordable for me to see a dentist. Way back in the Philippines we don't have it. My husband got an insurance for both of us and I am so glad about it. I want to seek for professional help with 1-800 Dentist which I often seen their commercial on television and impresses me with the services that they have. It's not only for me but for my husband as well. Their services are great and their prices are very affordable. One of this days I will try to get a hold of them and see what they can do for my teeth and make the necessary appointment to get started with the things to be done and has to be done with out teeth.

Flower Delivery Service
How precious to receive a bouquet of flower like the one in the picture. I can still remember how my husband surprises me with a bouquet of flowers in the office when I was still working. It was so precious and I feel so special. Husbands out there, surprise your love now with flowers. I know you can get it in your area. And if so happened that the one you love is far from you, giving flower is still possible. My husband use to do it when I was still in the Philippines. So if your love is in Russia for example, it is very possible to send flowers to Russia and have flower delivery to Russia for the one you love.
