Storage Wars

This is one of my favorite shows right now " storage wars ". Actually its me and my husbands favorite. This show is about an abandoned storage units and get auctioned to interested buyers. There are 4 major buyer who normally fight for the unit that they want. Some has the money to do it but some just pisses somebody else. I like the concept of the show. It is very interesting and very entertaining. This show is aired every Wednesday at A&E channel at 9 in the evening. I am excited to see their new episodes starting Wednesday. The picture on the upper right are the major bidders and at the middle is the host of the show and an auctioneer.

Blogging And Direct TV Combine

Blogging is one of my recreation since I moved here in the states. This is something i could enhance my writing skills and shares my thoughts with my readers. This is not only for improving what I have already learn but I can also earn an extra income by just writing something. Yes you'll get compensated by it. I did realize that blogging and watching television could go well.

Yes that's what I do most of the time because i could some idea on television to blog about. For example my favorite shows or I have watched something that I feel like sharing it to my readers. Of course I choose Direct TV for my television network. A Satellite TV that satisfies my entertainment need. I can even watch my Filipino soap from it.

Even if I am a stay at home mom, I still enjoy being home. I can still contribute to our finances and at the same time I take care of the house. At first it was a huge adjustment for me but in the long run I am loving it. Thanks to my blogging and Direct TV who's there me all the time. So don't get bored and explore.

Secret Millionaire On ABC

They are one of the recipients of the $20,000 donation of a millionaire on the episode "secret millionaire" aired last Sunday on ABC. It was awesome and I have really waited long for that show to come in. This 2 women just continue helping their community and feeding them to their best ability. They have grown old to help their community and it is a very good trait. They were so happy receiving a help from the said millionaire and they said " imagine how many people gets fed with this amount". That was a very heart warming show last Sunday and I do look forward to their succeeding episodes.

The Time Traveler’s Wife

This is a guest post by Jamie Rickles

I was bored and surfing the movies available on the Direct TV that I got from www.BestChoiceTV.com when I came across “The Time Traveler's Wife”. At first I wasn't expecting much out of this movie, but I was definitely wrong. After two minutes I was glued to the screen. It was cool to be able to watch it at home and not have to spend the ridiculous money on theater tickets. This movie gave a touch to time travel that I've never seen done in movies before. Most time travel movies are all about changing the past or future through some form of scientific way. In this movie the main character has no choice but to travel through time. An interesting genetic make-up that is passed down through the family forces him to time travel at the most interesting times.

The story is about him and a woman that he falls in love with. He meets her from the future when she was only a little girl. He finds out that in her time, he is about the same age as her and when she falls in love with him, he goes back to tell her how to find him and what to talk about. Their relationship grows to marriage, and even though he wasn't present at his wedding, his future self was, the movie gives you plenty of twist and turns to follow. It's a movie you have to keep your eyes on or you will miss something.

Through an interesting spin of going backward and forward in time, these two lovers find themselves loving each other as much as wanting his “gift” to go away. The spiral leads though pregnancy and much more more. If you want an interesting love story that will also have the guys as in to the movie as the girls are then this is a movie you will want to see.

Bonding With Hubby

Oh I so love this movie. It is a 3D movie and it was a cute movie perhaps. Hubby and I went to the theater last night before he went back to work and this is what we decided to watch. Actually it was our second choice because originally we are hoping that Avatar is still showing but unfortunately, they took it out already. But we are glad that we went to see this movie because sure enjoyed. After the movie, we had our dinner in our favorite Chinese restaurant, then we head home after we ate. Hubby also bought a card and the dragon character that I like in the movie as my birthday gift..Hehehehe!Loved it!

The Bachelor Finale

It's the finale of The Bachelor tonight and I am watching it right now. I am very curious who is he going to choose to be his wife. Would like him to choose timly. Oh they look so good together and I like the timly's attitude compare to vienna. She from the beginning was hated by some other girls. I just hope Jake chooses the right woman for him this time.

Filipino Channel On Direct TV

I was very surprised when my father in law told me the other night that he had purchased a new program on Direct TV. At first, I was just like okay that's great. But later he reveals the surprised. He said that the new program that he purchased were Filipino Channels. Wow! I was very astounded and so speechless when he said that.

I was very happy and now getting excited because they will install it tomorrow. I think I saw few commercials with the Filipino channel on DirectTV but was not really brought it up to my husband because I just normally watch my shows online. But now with directv, I can watch my shows in a huge screen, that is awesome. They will give us a month trial period though and see if we will keep it or turn it down. For sure we will keep it because aside from just watching my show, my husband could learn our dialect too by watching some of the shows with me.

Oh! today is Sunday and they will be here tomorrow. I am excited and anxious to see their programs. My dad in law told me that there are at least 28 channels for the Filipino shows. Oh that would be so awesome and I can't wait. Told my husband about it and he said it was very interesting. I am just glad that I can still watch my shows from the Philippines eventhough I am already residing here in the States.

Evolving Technology In The Entertainment Industry

As the world evolved so is our technology. As you can see, our technology today is very fascinating. You will be amazed how they upgraded everything from features to images, from high definition to coverage. These evolution are more likely happening in the entertainment industry. Being said so, Direct TV is one of the evolving television network in the market.

Their features are great and very affordable. Most consumers could attest how satisfied they are on the services they get with directv. I myself could attest to that too because we have been using this television network for a while now. We are totally overwhelmed with the package we got from them years back. If you are one of their consumers, you can relate to what I am saying.

We live in Mississippi and direct tv is really popular down here. But do not worry if you are living in a different state because direct tv is everywhere. You can get Direct TV in Texas, Direct TV in Florida, Direct TV in New York or Direct TV in California. The places mentioned above are just some of them but it in every state in the United States has a direct tv. Check out their website and see the awesome packages that they've got for you.

Home Entertainment With Direct TV

Direct TV has been around the market for how many years now. They have serving most of the consumers here in the United States. Even if you do a survey, Direct Satellite TV is still the leading television network in the market. I would attest to that because we have been using this service for a while now and it gives us satisfaction on our entertainment. The programs are awesome and the connection is just amazing.

What I love about their service is I can still watch my program on a different time slot if I missed it on a regular time slot. They have this western and eastern time which enable us to watch any program twice. Meaning, if I missed Survivor series that is usually aired around 7 Thursday night, I can still watch it around 10 in the evening on the same day. This is what amazes me because I will never miss my favorite programs on TV. And tell you what they have over 200 channels to choose from.

Aside from there great deals such as channels and time slot. Location is not a problem too. If you live somewhere in the United States, lets say Florida, they can still reach you through Direct TV in Florida. Isn't that amazing that they will come to you just to offer you a great service and an awesome package for your entertainment at home. What more you could ask for? Get direct tv now!

Comedy Shows On CBS

I am just watching David Letterman's show. I like this show because it makes me laugh and the guests were great too because they are so cool and just go with the flow of the show. David is a great host and a well experienced one. No wonder the show is still aired every night and patronized by so many fans. I also like Craig Furgeson's late night show too as well as comics unlesh..Hehehehe..

Britney Spears in Australian 'lip-synching row'

When she arrived in the country last week, a Sydney newspaper ran a front-page story complaining that Spears would not be singing live during 15 two-hour concerts on her tour. The issue set online comment boards alight with indignation, and Virginia Judge, the New South Wales minister for Fair Trading, poured further fuel on the fire by saying Australians would not tolerate a "Mickey Mouse" performance by Spears. Ms Judge even suggested that concert tickets should carry disclaimers about whether parts of concerts were pre-recorded and mimed. Then came reports that scores of fans had "stormed out" of the Perth performance, angry that the star was miming. Fans reportedly said the stage show was "boring", "stiff", and "lacklustre". The furore has incensed Paul Dainty, Spears's tour promoter. "It's the biggest lie I've ever heard. I'm so angry," he told the Australian newspaper. "We can take heat if there's something wrong and people can review shows badly – that's something you have to live with – but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication." Dainty said Spears had been traumatised by the negative coverage. "Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it. "She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting." Dainty said it was incorrect to suggest that fans had stormed out of the show as early as the third song after paying between $200 to $1,500 to see the 27-year-old singer who has rebuilt her career after a high-profile meltdown. Before her world tour started in March to promote her sixth studio album, Spears had only done a handful of live concerts in recent years as her personal life ran out of control. This included stints in psychiatric care, an ugly divorce, losing custody of her two sons and shaving her head. Dainty said it was well known that part of the Spears concert was lip-synched and blasted any inference that this was hidden. "It's been all over the internet for nine months," he said. "This show is about an incredible spectacle, which it is." Spears' manager Adam Leber took to Spears' Twitter account to defend the singer to her 3.7 million followers. "Its unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn't enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did." he wrote. The management from the Burswood Dome in Perth, where Spears' show was staged, told local reporters that they had not received any complaints from the 17,000 people who were at the show. A similar number attended Spears' show the next night as well. Thousands of fans flooded Spears' personal website and Twitter to congratulate her on her comeback, describing her Perth performances as "amazing", "awesome" and "brilliant". The tour continues in Melbourne on Wednesday.

This Is It': It's moderately memorable

Michael Jackson's "This is it" is a nice keepsake for the King of Pop's fans, though the majority of the music here is already available elsewhere. The album is a compilation of music that inspired the movie of the same name, a documentary about the singer's final rehearsals for a series of London concerts, which premieres tonight. The hits show the breadth of his artistry, but the main reason to buy this double-disc collection is to get the title song, a 1983 ballad co-written with Paul Anka that was released as a "brand new" song two weeks ago and features backing vocals by The Jacksons. There is also an orchestral version of the song, which isn't improved by the flourishes. The two-CD package is dressed up with a lavish 36-page booklet, unreleased demos of hits Beat It, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' and She's Out of My Life (an acoustic version), and a spoken-word poem, Planet Earth. Those are nice curios for die-hard Jackson fans, but that audience may have been better served by live renditions of some of the hits included here. The album gives you all the familiar songs, sequenced in the order they appear in the film. What you wind up with is more a soundtrack to Jackson's career than a soundtrack to a movie that focuses on his preparations for the London concerts, which he hoped would return him to glory. It is nice to hear Jackson in that glory, unvarnished by the controversy that has dogged him even in death. Kicking things off, appropriately, is the blistering workout Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'. What follows is one memorable pop pleasure after another, showcasing Jackson's versatility as a vocalist and evolution as a songwriter. There is a timelessness to songs such as the gentle Human Nature, defiant They Don't Care About Us and poignant Man in the Mirror, and smash '80s hits like Thriller and Beat It still resonate. While this project buffs Jackson's legacy, it doesn't add much to it. Maybe the documentary will bring fresh insight about the enigmatic entertainer. Considering how posthumous sales of his catalog have skyrocketed, it's hard to imagine This Is It as a must-have for those who already have invested in his classic albums and hits compilations.
