Predict Your Winning With Sports Betting

When we watch a sport say like football we normally bet on whose team gonna win. I think this is something that has been in the world of sports or game for decades now. It is not as well uncommon to sports bet in every game we watch or every sports we have been to. They may not be the exact result yet but bet on sports is a process of predicting the result of a game.

I did try sports betting before because I was involve with sports. I play tennis and softball so I always bet that our team will win every game. It is fun and exciting. Although there is really no telling who is going to win but having the confidence in you is a good indication of winning. I even bet before with money involve.

I do not see it as illegal if money is involve in sports betting because I think it is part of the game. Some people will even invest more money in one sport. They don't mind spending their money because the enjoyment they are experiencing is all worth it. Get involve and learn new tricks with it. Check some online sports betting website to give you an overview on the things involve in it.

New Orleans mayor needs a Super Bowl ticket

Wouldn't you think the politically correct NFL would take care of two key politicians for the Super Bowl? Specifically, with game tickets for the mayors of the two cities sending teams? That's not the case for New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, whose said his best bet to attend so far is paying $800 for a seat in the nosebleed section. That prompted Nagin to tell radio station WBOK "I'll have to bring a handkerchief." The $800 ticket will come from the Saints' block of tickets, if Nagin goes that route. Nagin said he was surprised no one accounted for the mayors. "But I just thought that as mayor of the city I would go to the (Super Bowl) as a representative of the city and of the Saints, and it wouldn't be an issue," the mayor said. "But maybe they've got some things they've got to work out, so we'll see. I'm hopeful that it's going to work out." Added Nagin: "Some people seem to forget I come from the business environment . . . So I got contacts at ESPN, USA TODAY, you name it. So I'm going to work it out." Sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Mayor, but you have a better chance of being elected the king of Poland than finding an extra ticket kicking around our offices.

BCS Championship

I did watch some part of their game a few days ago. They were playing against Texas and it was really a close fight. I thought Texas is going to win because the scores were very tight and from that moment, Texas will beat Alabama in a snap. But Alabama was working so hard to get the title as champion on that day and they succeeded. The scores were Texas - 21 and Alabama - 37. It is amazing to see them win their victory. Well Alabama is not that far from our area. It is at least almost 2 hours drive and I have been there many times already. It is our neighboring state so it is like winning also. Hopefully on the next season, they will defend their title again as BCS Champion. Now the waiting begins on the super bowl..LOL

I watched it with hubby because he will explain to me on whatever terms that confuses me during the game..Hehehehe..which helps a lot because I am getting what the game is all about little by little. Go New Orlean Saints. Break a leg

Raiders adjust to different camp under Cable

For most of the Oakland Raiders, the first few days of training camp under coach Tom Cable are like nothing they’ve been through before as football players. Quarterbacks are forbidden to pass the ball in seven-on-seven drills. They practice barking out audibles in the corner of the field while their teammates do other drills. The whistle blows almost as soon as the ball is handed off as coaches make sure each player is in the right spot. And then the process repeats itself. “It seemed like it was weird at first when he talked about the concept, but you go through it and it’s a great concept,” linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba said. “We’re doing a lot of learning, get all the mistakes out the way.” The Raiders spent Saturday participating in their third straight day of what Cable has called a “learning-intensive” approach to football, eschewing pads, contact and running actual plays in favor of drilling fundamentals in this outdoor classroom in wine country. Fullback Lorenzo Neal told Cable he hadn’t seen anything like it in 17 years in the NFL. The approach is in stark contrast to what the Raiders’ cross-bay rivals are doing under coach Mike Singletary. The 49ers opened camp Saturday with two contact practices in pads as Singletary tries to instill a physical mentality with his team. Cable says there is plenty of time for hitting later in camp, in preseason games and the regular season. So for the first four days of his camp, he’s focusing on the mental part of the game. “When you hand them a set of pads and it’s time to go do that, they get into that part of it rather easily. That’s the way they’re wired,” Cable said. “Remember now, the NFL season starts now and it hopefully ends sometime in February for you. The human body can only take so many car crashes.” For the Raiders, those crashes won’t begin until Monday, the fifth day of training camp. For now, they have one more day of drills that may look mundane but are ones Cable says are vital for the Raiders to reverse a six-year slide of losing. In seven-on-seven passing drills, the quarterbacks drop back, survey the field as receivers run their patterns, then stop without making a pass. JaMarcus Russell pleaded with his coaches to be able to show off that strong arm of his to no avail, although defensive coordinator John Marshall did shout out at one point, “It’s time for a pick.” Later in practice, the quarterbacks line up near a fence, calling signals and taking simulated snaps. They bark out audibles, hand signals and all, as quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett calls out different defensive looks. Defenders practice their run fits, going to a particular spot to fill a gap in the defense even though no plays are being run. Then when the team lines up for 11-on-11 drills, the quarterback takes the snap and hands off the ball, only for a whistle to blow after the blockers and defenders take just a step. That’s repeated over and over again, as coaches watch footwork and other small details. “You’re really trying to get their mind into the who and the how part,” Cable said. “When you throw pads on, you add that combative part of it, and that really changes everything. … You’ve trained them, and now it’s just handling it the right way.” Cable says one benefit of the approach that he first used as a college coach at Idaho is that younger players can get more practice time as the first and second teams are on separate fields, with no fear of injuries. The players say the back-to-basics drills have been helpful, reinforcing what they learned in offseason workouts and allowing them to get back up to speed without the risk of injury. “I think it’s great,” offensive lineman Mario Henderson said. “In my opinion, at camp when you get out the first day, you sometimes are not really focused on trying to do the right things. You’re just focused on going out there and trying to win the starting job. Sometimes that can be bad because you are going fast, but you’re not really doing your assignments. Now we have four days where we get everything down pat so then when it comes time Monday to earn a job, it’s not your assignments slowing you down.” While the players like the approach, they’re also eager to put on the pads and hit each other like football players again. “They are like, `Come on coach, let’s go play,”’ Cable said.

NFL Draft: Mitchell Makes His Point

A 4-8 season by the Bobcats didn't help. Neither did the fact that he was a snubbed during the Combine selection process. So Ohio University safety Michael Mitchell knew that he had to make a statement at his Pro Day back on March 12. "I had decided I was going to leave no doubt that I'm going to be one of the biggest, fastest safeties on the market," the 6-foot-1, 220-pound defensive back told Scout.com. "I looked at the day as, 'finally here's my chance.' I just wanted to get in a room with guys like William Moore, Mike Hamlin and Louis Delmas and compete with those guys. But since I didn't get to do that, my Pro Day was my chance to show that I could."Mitchell put forth a compelling case to the NFL scouts and coaches who gathered to watch the school's top athletes. He reportedly ran a 4.43-second 40-time on his first attempt and followed that up with a 4.49-second time—even though he pulled up a bit at the 35-yard mark due to tweaking his hamstring. Now remember, that's a sub-4.5 time in the 40-yard dash run by an athlete who weighs in at 220-pounds.As a result of that speed, Michael Mitchell doesn't just tackle opponents, he clobbers them. Watch his highlight reels and you'll see that players' legs fly out when this guy puts a hit on them. He made 62 tackles during his senior year, forced a pair of fumbles and picked-off three passes. "It's so weird that I've been flying under the radar, and at times it's been frustrating," he said. "I've been playing well, I've never been in trouble, I truly believe I'm a good person with a good heart. "If you ask people about Mike Mitchell, they'll tell you he's a hard worker and a great leader. He's a guy who's going to give 110 percent every time he steps on the field whether it be a workout or anything regarding football, he's always putting his best foot forward. And I'm definitely proud of that.

Mitchell told Scout.com that the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and Detroit Lions all spent some time talking with him at his Pro Day. He's also worked out for the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals. And he's had official visits with the Colts, Browns, the Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers.

As he's made the rounds with NFL teams, he's finally hearing that coaches and scouts have noticed that he's worthy of getting his shot at playing in the NFL.

"I keep hearing that they really like my size and my athletic ability," Mitchell said. "I think the thing that shocked a lot of people is my footwork. But I played corner all my life, and then when I got to college my coaches saw my potential to play safety, so he moved me to free safety. But as you watch film, you can tell I kind of like to hit people a little bit, so he moved me to strong safety."

Team officials also seem to be attracted to some of Mitchell's intangibles as they've learned more about him.

"They've told me that they really like the leadership and emotion I bring to the game," he said. "I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but I truly believe there isn't another player that brings it like I bring it, every play, every practice, every game."

Michael Mitchell is ready for the NFL. And one thing's for sure—he's no longer flying under the radar.

Super Bowl 43

I am not a football fan. It's not because I don't like this kind of sports but because I don't understand the way they play the game. To me it is so confusing and as I look at it, it is like a wrestling match to me..lol.. My husband is a big fan of football but I guess most American people loves football and as a new member to the community I am still adjusting to it. Today is a very significant day for football fans out there because it's the Super bowl and it is played between Arizona and Pittsburg. As of now Pittsburg is leading on the 3rd quarter but still a long way to run to tell the winner so we will see. Little by little I am starting to learn what really football is and hopefully soon I will be hook to it just like many Americans in the States. I believe some of my friends are addicted to this sports already and I don't see myself not hooked with it. So I hope you guys are having fun watching the Super Bowl. Go Pittsburg!
