Earn Degree Online

Guest written by our friend Sergio Chaney

I need a better paying job something fierce. I’ve been stuck in this dead-end-job for 3 years now, and I can tell I’m not going anywhere. I feel like a little rat on a wheel, running and running, but not getting anywhere. I gotta get off this wheel. It’s hard in this economy, though. No one is hiring, especially not someone like me who doesn’t have a degree. I’d love to get a degree, but the closest community college is 3 hours away. We can’t move, and that it not a realistic commute. I saw a commercial on tv about getting a degree online. I’m not sure how that would work, exactly, but if I could do that, that would be fantastic. I am going to look into getting satellitestarinternet %keyword% like my buddies have, and see about getting a degree online. I wonder what degrees you can even get online? I have no idea, and frankly, I don’t care. So many applications ask for your educational background and I am sick of just saying “high school.”

Got it at home

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

I got some Wild Blue Deals and I’ve been really fortunate that my parents still like to use the internet. That way, each night I can send them an email to check in and make sure everything’s okay and it’s just so much easier than trying to catch them on the phone since they don’t have cell phones. They’re always out at church or running errands or walking the dog so email is juts more efficient for us as a whole. I can’t imagine a better relationship between an adult and their parents and I think I’m really fortunate that even though my parents are getting up there in age they’re really good about staying active and keeping on top of their health. I worry about them but it’s for the kind of reasons you would imagine, not because they’re old, and that’s how it should be, you know? I just don’t know what in the world inspired them to get so into technology at their particular age…

Finding an alternative spring break for our family to go on

Guest post written by Renee Harold

My niece went on an alternative spring break a few years ago to help clean up after Katrina and she said that it was an amazing experience. So when we decided that we were going to go on a spring break as a family this year, I thought that we could check out family alternative spring break options.

We have teenagers, so they're old enough to volunteer with us and I just thought this might be a little more fulfilling for us. While I was online researching that, I came across some information comparing Electricity companies and after I looked through it some, I decided to sign ! up for one of the energy savings plans that I found.

We're actually going to go to New Orleans for the spring break trip, but we're also going to have a bit of fun while we're there too. I want to do a good amount of sightseeing because IÕve never been to the city before and I love going and looking at historical homes and things like that. We may have to go on our ghost tour for my sonÕs sake.

Bundling up for cold weather in style

Guest post written by Aubrey Daly

Summer is my favorite time of the year because it's so easy to get dressed by throwing on a sundress and a pair of sandals. It's so complicated to get dressed with style in the winter because you have to think about dressing in layers and if your clothes are still going to match when you take of our coat. But I still try and make a big effort to pull my whole outfit together and spice up my everyday coat with sassy accessories.

I love to look through all kinds of fashion blogs so that I can get some inspiration from how other normal people with wardrobe buses dress. One night about a week ago I was looking through some of my favorite blogs and while I was doing that I came across the website www.clearwirelessinternet.net and read through it. I wanted to switch over my internet service for a while anyway and so I changed mine over to that provider.

Some of my favorites right now for cute winter fashion include over the knee boots, which are great for wearing with jeans or tights. I only have one pair, but I bought them in black and have been wearing them a lot this season.
