Increase your page rank by the follwing

I was really beginning to think that my blog particularly this blog has a problem. This blog has a page rank 3 before but shortly after it went zero. I was so disappointed and was not able to get it back again. I do not know what was wrong with. This blog is my first ever domain blog and for it to be presentable and competitive I did purchased a page rank 4 ad for this. All I got was a page rank 3 for a while but then it turned out zero this time. So I guess I made a huge mistake. Probably I just have to work on my blog everyday as I do not normally do this. I was beginning to make some research to increase my page rank. I've read a bunch of ways but so far this are the best one and I think the most effective.

Comment...comment...comment

To me I think it is very effective. Just put yourself into it. Every time you receive a comment on you blog what will you. You will feel delighted right and I guess that how back links are working. I must try this and see how it really work for me.

Twitter

As all people twit nowadays I guess this is one easy and most effective way in promoting your blog.

Reliable content

Readers love to read reliable reading materials. Something they could relate to it and something that will give them an idea of one matter.

Join Communities

Like other networking joining forums is also the best way to increase your traffic and gain more readers of your blog. I already did this and hopefully it will work. I joined the blog frog community and I have been gaining new friends. You will probably love this community as all users has blogs.

Install Alexa Toolbar

I just read this when I was doing my researching that installing an alexa toolbar could help increase your website. I have already installed and I just have to see how it works.

So far this are the ways that I think I can do comfortably in increasing my page rank. I am hope and pray that I will do this ways continuously and be able to achieve the page rank that I have been wanting since I started blogging.

Happy blogging!!!!

They said that they have heard from the news that a tornado strike in Mississippi and honestly I have no idea about it..Lol but yeah I Google it online and yes there is. I feel sorry for the victims and we are thankful that although I have no idea at all, that we are safe during that day.

Want a GSM Motorola DROID? Say ‘hi’ to the Motorola MILESTONE!

The Motorola Droid is all the rage right now. It’s chock full of Android 2.0 goodies like Google Maps Navigation and enough smartphone hardware to satisfy even the hardest core of mobile enthusiasts all wrapped in a slim, yet masculine, package. But, Motorola is going to have to look beyond Verizon’s CDMA network to go truly global. In fact, Motorola’s already got O2 Germany in its sights. Yup, O2 will soon launch the GSM version of the Motorola Droid/Sholes as the Motorola MILESTONE.

O2 lists of the price of the MILESTONE at €404.20 ($595), but that number should get a nice little price-chop after some carrier subsidies. The O2 website shows the Motorola MILESTONE looking every bit the GSM Droid we expected it to be, which is a good sign that German’s won’t have to wait too long before picking up their MILESTONE. We’ve already seen the GSM Droid pass through the FCC and pop up in Vietnam, so it’s not surprising to see it going official in Europe.

Apple Profit Surges on iPhone Sales

Apple Inc. continued to power through the recession as it posted a 47% quarterly profit jump as consumers continued to snap up its iPhones and Macintosh computers. The company also sounded an upbeat note for the holiday season, despite new competition in the smart-phone and PC markets. Shares of Apple surged more than 6% after the results were released, eclipsing $200. Apple sold 7.4 million iPhones in the quarter ended Sept. 26, up 7% from a year ago and 41% more than the previous quarter, bucking concerns of a supply constraint. Demand was fed by a price drop and a faster iPhone model announced in June, which it has been gradually rolling out in overseas markets. "We feel very, very good about suiting up and competing against anyone," Tim Cook, Apple's operating chief, said on a conference call. "Frankly, I think that people are really just trying to catch up with the first iPhone that was announced two years ago, and we've long since moved beyond that." Apple also sold 3.1 million Macintosh computers in the quarter, up 17% from a year earlier, as it continued to gain ground on Windows-based machines. In the quarter, Apple released Snow Leopard, a major upgrade to its Mac operating system, and it said initial sales have been double that of the previous upgrade two years ago. Microsoft Corp. will release a new version of its rival software, Windows 7, this week. While Wall Street had feared that expectations for Apple's earnings could be too high, the results exceeded even the most optimistic expectations. "I'm shocked," said Kaufman Brothers analyst Shaw Wu. Overall, Apple reported a fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $1.67 billion, or $1.82 a share, compared with $1.14 billion, or $1.26 a share, a year earlier. Its gross profit margin rose to 36.6% from 34.7% a year ago. Revenue increased 24% to $9.87 billion from $7.9 billion a year earlier. Apple's strong results appear to indicate that overall consumer spending is recovering. Other technology companies have also recently posted positive earnings, including Intel Corp. and Google Inc. "This quarter really signals that we're coming out of the trough," said Gene Munster, an analyst for Piper Jaffray. "You don't see too many blow-out quarters like that, especially when you're the size of Apple." Apple's shares, which have nearly doubled over the past year, rose 6.1% to $201.50 in late trading, after closing up about 1% at $189.86 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. For the current quarter, Apple's forecast for earnings and profit were less conservative than in the past. The company projected per-share earnings of about $1.70 to $1.78 with revenue between $11.3 billion to $11.6 billion.

Rapidshare Search Engine

We know that Google is very popular when it comes to searching something on the web. But I came across this website which is rapid4me - search engine for rapidshare that is obviously same thing with Google but the nice thing about it is, it has a specific search engine for a particular article. This is the coolest thing I've discovered so far. I plan to try it and see what's in there. Many users have proven how great the website is on it's capacity as a search engine. To me this is the kind of website we must pay attention too. Because it's not only helpful but the website has all the resources you need. Check it out!

Gmail in real-time: Google does the Wave

Google is ready to start talking about its answer to demand for real-time--yet organized--Internet communication. Later on Thursday, Google plans to publicly demonstrate Google Wave for the first time at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco. Billed as "the e-mail of the future," Google Wave is the result of a multiyear project inside of Google to reinvent the inbox, blending e-mail, instant messaging, photo sharing, and perhaps, with input from developers, connections to the world of social networking. Google Wave is an attempt to "combine conversation-type communication and collaboration-type communication," said Lars Rasmussen, who launched the project with his brother Jens after Google acquired their mapping start-up in 2004. The brothers Rasmussen said they were inspired by the fact that two of the most commonly used Internet communication technologies--e-mail and instant messaging--are based on relatively ancient offline communication techniques, namely the letter and the telephone. The Rasmussens were given the authority to create "one of the most autonomous independent groups we've had at Google," said co-founder Sergey Brin in a press conference following the demonstration. Given the success the brothers had in developing the technologies behind Google Maps, Brin was inclined to "give them the benefit of the doubt" when Lars came to him pitching a bid to reinvent Internet communication. They came up with Google Wave, which organizes Internet discussions in the trendy stream of consciousness fashion. It's a little bit Twitter, a little bit Friendfeed, and a little bit Facebook all in one service, allowing you to send direct messages to online contacts with real-time replies, share photos or documents, and add or delete members of the conversation as needed. In that sense, it's not a completely public discussion, nor a completely private one. A user creates a "wave" by typing a message or uploading photos and adding contacts to the wave as they see fit. Other contacts can be added later, and those people can add other contacts to the wave unless the original wave starter forbids new entrants. "Each person that we show it too, something different resonates as useful" to their way of communicating on the Internet, said Stephanie Hannon, project manager for Google Wave. At the moment, the functionality is somewhat limited, but Google is introducing Google Wave at its developer conference for a reason: "a lot of this depends on developer uptake," Rasmussen said. The company will release APIs (application programming interfaces) at the conference so that developers can start testing how to build Wave into their own sites, or how to integrate their services with Google's. Google envisions three types of developer projects using Wave. The first is the most obvious; using Wave as a gateway for conversations that you're already having elsewhere on Twitter, Friendfeed, Facebook, blogs, and other social media sites. There are plenty of reasons for Google to try to tap into the "stickiness" of various social networks, where users spend obscene amounts of time. And the company thinks that services such as Twitter recognize the value of letting others build a front end into their services: there are dozens of Twitter apps for PCs and smartphones that grant such access without having to use Twitter's own front end, and those apps don't seem to have put much of a dent in Twitter's overall traffic. For starters, Google Wave will allow users to post new items to blogs created with Blogger from within a wave, and see comments and replies within a wave. The second category involves creating applications that run within a wave, similar to how developers have used Facebook as a platform to create all sorts of applications. Collaborative games are expected to be among the first applications to appear within Google Wave. Lastly, Google wants developers to think of Wave as a possible enhancement to an existing workflow within an enterprise. The example Rasmussen used was a bug tracker used by software developers to identify and assign bugs. Bugs could be organized in waves; participants post the new bug to a global wave, then the team leader can assign bugs to individual team members within the wave, and developers can comment on their fix for a particular bug as they are tackled and cleared, all within the same thread. The software has a long way to go: Google is releasing it as a developer preview on Thursday, and is actively looking for feedback on how it can improve. Sometime later this year Google expects to release it to the general public, but Rasmussen would not commit to a more specific timeframe. Google also plans to open-source the format at the heart of Google Wave as a protocol in order to let developers build their own waves. The company has not determined the license that will be used to open-source the code, Rasmussen said. Developer feedback will be crucial toward gauging the impact of Google Wave in a marketplace crowded with similar ideas. For months, Google has been pressed with inquiries about whether or not it plans to buy companies like Twitter or others that specialize in real-time Internet communication, and thus far, the company has demurred.

The Power of Google and it's origin

Whenever we see this image, we know this is very powerful. Google is a phenomenon and used by many people around the world. It has good service that everyone loves to use. It has many features, very modern, very high tech and a lot more. But where does Google originate? Google originated when Larry Page and Sergey Brin met each other at Stanford University as students of Computer Science. They had different viewpoints but common interests. Together they tried solving the biggest problem of that time: - how to retrieve relevant data from the large sea of data floating on the internet. To tackle this problem they started working together in 1996 on a search engine "BackRub" named so due to its ability to analyze the "back links" which point to a given website. While brainstorming for a new name for the search engine Sean Anderson, his fellow student, suggested "googolplex" and Larry shortened it to "googol". Sean made a search on the net for the availability whether the name was available or had already been registered. Sean spelt the word wrongly and searched for google.com which was available. The name struck a note with Larry and he registered Google.com for himself and Sergey. Before google.com the search engine used the domain google.stanford.edu using the Stanford University website. On September 14, 1997 the domain google.com was registered and on September 7, 1998 the company was incorporated as "Google Inc.". "Googol" which was supposed to be the name of the search engine is the mathematical term for "a 1 followed by 100 zeros". Larry and Sean decided on "googol" as it reflected company's mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the net.

The story of how "Google Inc" came into existence is really interesting. Larry and Sergey spend a lot of cash on buying memory disks for storing data. They needed money to pay off their bills and get a place of their own as they were still operating from their dorm. After being refused by their friend and founder of Yahoo! David Filo for funds they talked to Andy Bechtolsheim, one of the founder members of Sun Microsystems. He looked at the demo of Google and immediately realized the potential it had. As Andy was in a hurry he simply made a check for $ 100,000 in the name of "Google Inc". At that time "Google Inc" did not exist so to realize the check they collected more funds and started "Google Inc." with around $ 1 million starting investment.
